My blog is set up for me to share my recent personal experience regarding my feelings after I found out my husband may have fathered a child during the course of our marriage and never told me. It is meant to inspire, give hope and fuel your fire when you may feel at your lowest point and running low on energy. Please know you are not alone. Remember God will carry you through this pain, even if He has to drag you up. Amen!

Why do this?

• I love myself first. I want to share that you matter too and if you are experiencing your personal cheating significant other episode, this is your choice, however you choose to handle your process.

• I want to tell those whose significant other(s) betrayed them, that something similar has happened to me, and that they will be alright, too, in the long run.

• Rather than solely keeping a personal journal, I wanted to share my experience because after speaking with family, friends and acquaintances, I heard their stories of pain and heartache. I want them to feel whole and complete.

• If this blog has reached out to at least one person and I can help by sharing my story, it would have served its purpose. I am the voice of many conscience who are thinking, oh my, she verbalized what I’m thinking, out loud. Just know that personal decisions are to be respected because it not only involves the heart, it involves children, finances, other people, etc. This is a no judgment zone.

• If you feel depressed after two-three weeks and are losing work, school, too much weight and cannot function, you should see help of a therapist.

• Unlike me, take your time to process a decision. Trust may be hard to return to, do not cheat, omit, remove, hide the truth. The situation is between the 2 involved people and God. Not your children, your parents, relatives, friends, etc.
